Spiced Apple & Banana Desert
1 lb eating apples
2 tblsp lemon juice
pinch ground cloves
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 bananas, mashed
2oz stoned dates
Core and slice the apples and cut into wedges.
Toss apples, lemon juice and 3 tablespoons of water in a saucepan.
Cover and simmer for about 8 mins until the apples are tender.
Fold in the bananas, dates, cinnamon and cloves and cook for a further 5 mins, until heated through.
Serve with soya yoghurt.
